What to do if color and fastness of the pressed pattern are insufficient?

One of the key reasons for the global popularity of DTF printing is its excellent wash fastness. Unlike DTG prints, DTF prints do not fade easily with repeated washing. If you encounter issues with poor wash fastness when using the DTF solution, the following information should help you understand the causes and provide corresponding solutions.

1. Test the fastness with ink fully crosslinking, at least 24 hours after heat pressing.

2. Check heat press temperature and time (160°C for 15 seconds, 4kg pressure).

3. Eliminate moisture from fabrics before heat pressing.

4. Ensure the fabric is not treated with too much silicon or other additives which significantly reduce the wash fastness.

5. Choose a good quality DTF film to get a better wash fastness, our film has a special coating formula which assure ink wash fastness.
