Dogtor DTF: Why your DTF was washed off?

One of the main reasons for the global popularity of DTF printing is its excellent wash fastness. Unlike DTG prints, DTF prints do not fade easily after repeated washing. If you encounter issues with poor wash fastness when using the DTF solution, the following information should help you understand the causes and provide corresponding solutions.

1.Test the wash fastness only after the ink has fully crosslinked, at least 24 hours after heat pressing.

2.Check the heat press temperature and time (160°C for 15 seconds, with 4 kg of pressure).

3.Remove moisture from the fabric before heat pressing.

4.Ensure the fabric has not been treated with excessive silicon or other additives, as these can significantly reduce wash fastness.
