POLYTECH DTF solution if recognized with fine details and sharp lines in prints, which means high quality and accurate ink jetting. What should we do if we see some blurred prints with POLYTECH DTF?
Blurry text edges may be caused by ink droplets on the print head surface or bad calibration, or some print head nozzles are not jetting normally.
1. Print a test draw to check nozzle status.
2. Clean the print head surface.
3. If there's no improvement, recalibrate color and bidirectional settings.
If the problem remains, the nozzle may be slightly blocked. Shut down the printer, remove the print head, and use a syringe to flush the nozzles with cleaning fluid. Repeat the process until the print head jets uniformly. If the issue persists, the print head may need replacement.
4. The misalignment between the colored patterns and the white ink backup after heat transfer results in blurred images or unwanted white edges.
Recalibrate the horizontal registration of the print head using a magnifier for accuracy. Changes in PET film, loading status, and printing platform suction power can affect alignment.
